How Can I Keep From Singing? was written for the 2015 Adams County (PA) Junior High Honor Choir, conducted by Dr. Brent C. Talbot. This setting of the well-known hymn uses ostinato-based choral parts to create the “endless song” of the text. The SATB unaccompanied edition was commissioned by the Gettysburg Children’s Choir for their performance at the 150th Memorial Day Ceremony at Gettysburg National Military Park.
